The threat, relayed through unofficial channels, indicates Israel’s growing impatience after recent talks in Doha collapsed, largely due to Prime Minister Netanyahu recalling his negotiating team. This ultimatum underscores Israel’s determination to impose its terms, even as diplomatic efforts to secure a lasting peace and hostage release remain at an impasse.
Reports cite Israeli sources indicating that specific punitive measures could include the annexation of territory along Gaza’s outer perimeter.
