Las Vegas Raiders Secure Kolton Miller with Massive $66M Extension

The Las Vegas Raiders have made a significant long-term commitment to their offensive line, securing standout left tackle Kolton Miller with a substantial new contract extension.

This landmark agreement is a three-year, $66 million extension, featuring an impressive $42.5 million in guaranteed money, underscoring the team’s belief in Miller’s foundational role.

Miller himself has previously expressed a strong desire to remain a Raider for the entirety of his career, a sentiment that aligns perfectly with the franchise’s strategic decision to lock in one of its most reliable bookends for the foreseeable future.

This move also reflects the positive momentum within the organization, particularly under the leadership of new Head Coach Pete Carroll, whose vision has attracted key acquisitions like a new quarterback, a formidable guard, and promising first-round running back Ashton Jeanty.

Originally drafted by the Raiders as the No. 15 overall pick out of UCLA in 2018, the 29-year-old Miller was initially signed to a four-year, $13.5 million rookie deal. His consistent performance led to a prior three-year, $54 million extension.

Miller was entering the final year of that previous extension, with a base salary of $12.25 million, and was set to become an unrestricted free agent in 2026, making this new extension a timely and crucial move for the franchise.

His on-field contributions in 2024 were notable, as he started all 17 games at left tackle for the Raiders. Pro Football Focus (PFF) recognized his elite play, grading him as the No. 13 tackle among 81 qualifying players, highlighting his consistent high-level performance.

This extension ensures stability and elite protection for the Raiders’ offense for years to come, solidifying a critical position and allowing the team to continue building around a proven veteran.
