Liberty Hill Independent School District is celebrating a monumental achievement, securing a top-10 finish in the highly competitive 2025 University Interscholastic League (UIL) Lone Star Cup standings for Class 5A. This distinguished recognition places LHISD among the elite, tying for 10th place out of over 250 public high schools across the state of Texas.
The UIL Lone Star Cup, awarded in partnership with Texas Farm Bureau Insurance, stands as a premier testament to comprehensive excellence within Texas public high schools. It meticulously acknowledges outstanding achievements spanning academics, athletics, band, and fine arts, with schools accumulating points throughout the academic year based on their superior performance in both district and state-level competitions.
This year’s impressive performance saw Liberty Hill High School accumulate a remarkable 80 points, an accomplishment that led to a tie with Dallas Highland Park and positioned them alongside some of the most competitively recognized educational institutions in Texas.
