A recent incident in Tamuning has brought to light a concerning case of alleged theft and unauthorized entry, with a man now facing serious accusations of unlawfully entering a residence and absconding with a vehicle.
Authorities initiated an investigation on July 28 after receiving a complaint from a 61-year-old resident of a Tamuning apartment complex, who reported his car missing under perplexing circumstances.
The crucial breakthrough in the case came through meticulous review of surveillance footage provided by the apartment complex. The recordings reportedly showed a male individual, later identified as Kisoy, methodically surveying various vehicles and apartment units within the premises.
The surveillance evidence further captured Kisoy’s alleged movements, clearly showing him entering the victim’s vehicle and, perhaps more disturbingly, entering and exiting the victim’s apartment unit on two separate occasions.
During subsequent police questioning, Kisoy reportedly admitted to entering the man’s apartment. He further confessed to taking the key fob, which was found on a table inside the residence, directly leading to the vehicle’s disappearance.
This brazen act underscores the importance of residential security and highlights the swift response of local law enforcement in addressing property crimes within the community.
