Minnesota Maniac’s Chilling Confession in Homeless Woman Stabbing

A disturbing case has emerged from Minnesota, where a 20-year-old man, Logan Anthony Seitz, allegedly confessed to brutally stabbing a homeless woman multiple times, displaying a chilling lack of remorse that has left authorities stunned.

According to police reports, Seitz not only admitted to the heinous act but reportedly laughed while recounting the incident, expressing enjoyment in the near-fatal attack that occurred in Hennepin County’s Willow Lane Park.

The criminal complaint reveals a deeply troubling narrative: Seitz allegedly harbored a desire to kill an innocent, random person since the age of 10. He purposefully snuck out of his home armed with a knife on the day of the attack, explicitly intending to fulfill this long-standing violent ideation.

Upon encountering the homeless woman in the park, Seitz engaged her in conversation, appearing friendly before the pair sat together. It was then, chillingly and without warning, that he allegedly informed her of his intent to kill her, proceeding with the brutal assault.

The attack only ceased when Seitz reportedly grew “tired from stabbing her so many times.” After the assault, he discarded the knife and returned home, later expressing agitation during police interrogation upon learning that his victim, though critically injured, was expected to survive, indicating a clear intent to inflict death.

Investigators tracked Seitz to his residence, where he was found soaked in what he claimed was the victim’s blood. He admitted to changing his clothes and washing up, stating “her blood smelled,” further highlighting his disturbing detachment from the gravity of his actions.

This is not Seitz’s first encounter with the law; previous charges in January included threats of violence and disorderly conduct, stemming from an incident where he was a psychiatric patient in the ER. Officials noted his desire to “go out in a blaze of glory” after being checked into a behavioral health clinic for “homicidal ideation.”

The severe nature of this Minnesota crime underscores critical issues surrounding violent crime and mental illness within the community. Seitz has since been charged with first-degree attempted murder for the grisly stabbing, facing a potential life sentence without parole, with his bail set at a staggering $2 million, reflecting the gravity of the criminal justice system’s response to this heinous act involving a homeless victim.
