Crowded House Announces Intimate Australian Pop-Up Tour Dates

Crowded House is set to embark on a distinctive Australian Tour this October and November, promising fans an unparalleled, intimate experience in smaller venues across the nation, part of their anticipated Band Tour 2025.

This series, officially dubbed “Pop Up Shows,” marks a deliberate shift from large-scale arenas to atmospheric theatres and halls. This approach aims to bring the legendary Crowded House catalogue of iconic songs closer to their dedicated fanbase, fostering a unique connection not possible in larger settings, making these truly unique Music Concerts.

The highly anticipated tour itinerary includes stops in key Australian cities and regions. Fans in Cairns, Townsville, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Byron Bay, and Hobart will have the exclusive opportunity to witness the band’s renowned live performances in these specially selected, more personal venues, reinforcing the intimate nature of the Australian Tour.

Access to these sought-after Music Concerts will be managed through a series of structured presales to accommodate various fan groups. These include the Private Universe Artist presale, running from August 5 to August 7, and a concurrent CommBank Yello Mastercard presale. Additionally, members of the Crowded House Mailing List and Live Nation presale participants can secure tickets from August 7 to August 8 for the upcoming Pop Up Shows.

For the general public, tickets will become available starting Friday, August 8, at 2 p.m. local time, accessible via traditional ticketing platforms for the Band Tour 2025. Early engagement during the presale windows is highly recommended due to the limited capacity of the chosen venues, which are expected to sell out rapidly given Crowded House’s enduring popularity.

This upcoming Australian Tour builds upon the immense success of the band’s sold-out 2024 performances, which supported their critically acclaimed eighth studio album. It further cements a remarkable career spanning nearly four decades, during which Crowded House has sold over 15 million records globally and delivered timeless hits like “Don’t Dream It’s Over” and “Something So Strong.”

Throughout their illustrious journey, Crowded House has garnered significant industry recognition, including 13 ARIA Awards, a Brit Award, and an MTV VMA. Their music continues to resonate with audiences worldwide, evidenced by billions of streams, underscoring their profound impact on the global music landscape.

The current iteration of the band, featuring frontman Neil Finn and co-founder Nick Seymour, solidified in 2020 and released their recent album in 2021. Finn’s brief but impactful tenure with Fleetwood Mac in 2018 also introduced his musical genius to a new generation, further broadening the band’s appeal as they forge a new era with these highly anticipated Pop Up Shows.
