New Balance Reveals Coco Gauff’s Dynamic US Open Tennis Shoe Collection

New Balance has officially unveiled its highly anticipated 2025 US Open Footwear Collection, featuring an innovative array of designs tailored for peak performance on the tennis court. This latest release, meticulously crafted, highlights three distinct new tennis shoes specifically designed for phenom Coco Gauff, alongside other key models for professional athletes.

At the forefront of this athletic apparel launch is the newest iteration of Gauff’s second signature tennis shoe, the Coco CG1, showcasing an evolution in both style and functionality. This particular model, a cornerstone of the New Balance footwear collection, continues to embody the dynamism and competitive spirit of the young tennis star.

The Coco CG1 is presented in a striking new colorway, combining Urgent Red and Monarch Burgundy, a deliberate choice that draws inspiration from the iconic burgundy kit and shoes Gauff wore during her triumphant 2023 Grand Slam victory in New York. This design choice serves as a powerful homage to her historic achievement at the US Open.

Complementing Gauff’s signature model is the versatile Coco Delray, engineered to cater to the everyday tennis player across all skill levels. Designed for optimal performance on various court surfaces, its adaptable nature also makes it a stylish option for off-court wear, extending its appeal beyond competitive play.

The Coco Delray will be available in two distinct colorways: a sophisticated Bisque and Urgent Red for women, and a rich Bisque and Monarch Burgundy for men. Both versions will retail for $110 in adult sizes and are set to drop on August 15, making this essential footwear accessible to a wider audience.

Beyond Gauff’s specific models, the collection also introduces the Fresh Foam X CT-Rally v2, which will be prominently debuted by ATP and WTA stars Tommy Paul, Jordan Thompson, and McCartney Kessler at the upcoming US Open. This new addition promises significant advancements for competitive tennis.

The v2 iteration of the Fresh Foam X CT-Rally boasts comprehensive upgrades, including a redesigned outsole, midsole, and upper for enhanced durability and comfort. Key technical improvements include a more breathable upper mesh, a larger heel clip engineered for increased stability, and an external shank underfoot to provide superior torsional stability during rigorous match play.

Enthusiasts of high-performance tennis shoes can look forward to the Fresh Foam X CT-Rally v2, which will be released in Sea Salt and Lime Leaf colorways for women, and Lime Leaf and Sea Salt for men. Priced at $150 in adult sizes, these advanced shoes are also slated for an August 15 release, solidifying New Balance’s strong presence in the tennis footwear market.
