Envestnet Asset Management Boosts Holdings in Invesco Emerging Markets ETF (PIE)

Envestnet Asset Management Inc. has significantly expanded its investment in the Invesco Dorsey Wright Emerging Markets Momentum ETF (PIE), a move reflective of broader institutional confidence in specific growth sectors. This strategic increase in ETF investments highlights the ongoing adjustments within major financial portfolios, particularly those focused on emerging markets.

According to its latest 13F filing with the SEC, Envestnet Asset Management bolstered its position in PIE by 3.1% during the first quarter. This addition of 2,019 shares brought their total ownership to 66,161 shares, valuing their stake at $1,203,000 and representing approximately 1.44% of the ETF’s total stock.

Envestnet’s move is part of a larger trend among institutional investors who have been actively adjusting their emerging markets portfolio management strategies. Recent quarters have seen a flurry of buying and selling activity around the Invesco Dorsey Wright Emerging Markets Momentum ETF, signaling dynamic shifts in investment outlook.

Notably, Carolinas Wealth Consulting LLC increased its stake by 6.5% in Q4, while MorganRosel Wealth Management LLC boosted its holdings by 11.5% in Q1. Jane Street Group LLC and Citadel Advisors LLC also made substantial increases of 30.8% and a remarkable 356.8% respectively in the fourth quarter, demonstrating diverse stock analysis approaches.

M Holdings Securities Inc., another significant player, lifted its stake by 0.3% in Q4, accumulating a substantial 338,068 shares valued at $6,498,000. These transactions underscore the varied portfolio management philosophies and the significant capital flowing into these ETF investments.

The Invesco Dorsey Wright Emerging Markets Momentum ETF recently opened at $21.28, reflecting its current market valuation. The firm maintains a market capitalization of $101.08 million, with a PE ratio of 13.79 and a beta of 0.79, providing key metrics for stock analysis.

Technical indicators show the ETF’s 50-day moving average at $20.62 and its two-hundred day moving average at $19.23. Over the past year, PIE has traded within a range, experiencing a low of $15.31 and a high of $21.83, illustrating its volatility and potential.

The Invesco Dorsey Wright Emerging Markets Momentum ETF (PIE) is fundamentally designed to track the Dorsey Wright Emerging Markets Technical Leaders Index. Its primary objective is to invest at least 80% of its total assets in securities of emerging economies, aligning with Dorsey Wright & Associates’ specific classification definition for emerging markets exposure and ETF investments.
